Birth is a process where the mother looses a lot of qi and blood. It doesn't matter if the birth was C-section or vaginal, we need to nourish the mother. With the loss of fluids the mother is more susceptible to cold invasion which can lead to problems later in life including dysmenorrhea (painful periods) fertility struggles and premature aging. So we take herbs to boost qi and blood and calm the mind of the new mother.

Each bag contains 26g of raw herbs, which equals about 7 servings.

Instructions: Take about 4g of each herb in this section, boil 3 cups of water and then lower to a simmer until you are left with 1 cup of liquid. Strain and consume. 

The herbs can be used for multiple boils in the same day, to produce at least 3 cups of tea. You can add your own tea bag and honey to make it more delicious!
