Which Facial is Right for You?

The right treatment depends on your skin goals, how quickly you want to see results, and whether you’re looking for a purely skin-focused experience or a more holistic, whole-body approach. Some treatments are designed for immediate glow, while others work gradually to support long-term skin health. If you’re unsure, our team will help guide you during your visit.

Acupuncture facial in Vancouver BC

Holistic, whole-body

The Nest Signature Facial

Our Signature Facial is a holistic approach to facial rejuvenation, also known as cosmetic acupuncture or our Graceful Aging Facial. It supports circulation, collagen production, and overall balance in the body, and brings together several treatments in one session rather than offering them separately.

What’s included

  • Facial acupuncture
  • Body acupuncture
  • A masque
  • Gua sha
  • Facial cupping
  • LED light therapy
Who is it best for?

This treatment is well suited for those concerned with fine lines, wrinkles, acne, pigmentation, uneven tone, facial tension, and stress-related aging. It’s ideal for anyone seeking a natural, non-invasive approach that supports both skin health and overall well-being. Please book this at least two weeks after receiving any neuromodulator.

How often should I come?

For best results, we recommend a series of 5–8 treatments over 8–10 weeks. For ongoing maintenance, treatments every 6–8 weeks help maintain results.

How is it different from a traditional facial?

Rather than focusing only on the surface of the skin, cosmetic acupuncture supports the internal systems that influence skin health. Many clients notice improvements not only in their skin, but also in sleep quality, stress levels, and overall balance.

Do I need to book gua sha separately?

No. Gua sha is part of the Signature Facial, alongside facial cupping and facial massage. A Gua Sha Facial uses smooth stone tools to gently encourage circulation, release tension, and support lymphatic drainage in the face and neck, and it’s especially helpful for puffiness, facial tension, sinus congestion, or dull skin.

Biologique Recherche facial in Vancouver

Customized, results-driven

Biologique Recherche Custom Facial

A Biologique Recherche facial is a fully customized skincare treatment using high-performance products selected specifically for your skin on the day of your visit. Each facial is tailored to address your unique skin concerns and goals.

Three ways to book it

  • The Biologique Recherche facial on its own
  • The facial with body acupuncture added
  • The facial with both body and facial acupuncture added
Who should choose it?

This facial is ideal for concerns such as aging, pigmentation, acne, dehydration, dullness, uneven texture, and loss of firmness. It’s a great option if you’re looking for visible skin refinement and correction.

How often should I come?

Corrective treatments are typically recommended every 2–4 weeks. For maintenance, many clients choose monthly or seasonal treatments.

Why add acupuncture to it?

Facial and/or body acupuncture can be added to enhance circulation, calm the nervous system, and support overall balance. Acupuncture treatments performed by registered acupuncturists may be eligible for extended health benefits.

Deep release and sculpting

Sculptural Facelifting Buccal Massage

Sculptural Facelifting Buccal Massage is a specialized manual technique that works both inside and outside the mouth to release deep facial tension and restore natural facial posture.

Who is it best for?

This treatment is well suited for jaw tension, TMJ, facial puffiness, sinus discomfort, and stress held in the face, neck, and scalp. It also offers visible lifting and sculpting effects over time.

How often should I come?

While results can be felt after the first session, a series of 8–10 weekly treatments is recommended for best results, followed by maintenance every 4–6 weeks.

Who should not receive it?

Buccal massage is not recommended for those with inflamed or active acne, rosacea, bleeding gums, cold sores, certain medical conditions, or during pregnancy. Our team will review contraindications with you prior to treatment.

Microneedling anti-aging treatment in Vancouver BC

Collagen and texture

Microneedling

Microneedling is a controlled skin-renewal treatment that uses fine needles to create micro-channels in the skin. This process stimulates collagen and elastin production, improves skin texture, and enhances the absorption of professional-grade serums.

Who is it best for?

Microneedling is ideal for fine lines, acne scarring, enlarged pores, uneven texture, hyperpigmentation, and skin laxity. It’s well suited for clients looking for visible skin improvement with minimal downtime.

How often should I come?

Microneedling is typically performed in a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Maintenance treatments may be recommended one to two times per year, depending on skin goals.

Can acupuncture be added?

Yes. Microneedling with acupuncture uses body acupuncture only, so no needles are placed in the face alongside the treatment.

Smooth and bright

Dermaplaning Facial

Dermaplaning is a gentle exfoliation treatment that removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair, leaving the skin smooth, bright, and more receptive to skincare products.

What’s included

  • Sonic dermaplaning
  • Facial acupuncture
  • Body acupuncture
  • LED light therapy
Who is it best for?

Ideal for dull or uneven texture, enhancing makeup application, and achieving an immediate, refreshed appearance.

How often should I come?

Dermaplaning is typically done every 4–6 weeks and can be combined with other facial treatments. Dermaplaning can be added to most acupuncture and facial treatments, just ask your provider.

iS Clinical Fire and Ice facial in Vancouver BC

Instant, event-ready glow

Fire & Ice Facial

The Fire & Ice Facial is a resurfacing treatment designed to quickly refresh and brighten the skin with little to no downtime. It’s often chosen before events or when skin needs a visible boost.

Who should choose it?

This treatment is ideal for dull or congested skin, uneven texture, fine lines, or when you want immediate results.

How often should I come?

It can be done as a one-time glow treatment or every 4–6 weeks as part of a skin care routine.

What’s the difference with and without acupuncture?

Without acupuncture, the treatment focuses on exfoliation and hydration for instant results. With acupuncture, the treatment is enhanced by supporting circulation and relaxation, offering both visible skin benefits and a deeper sense of balance.

Good to Know Before You Book

When booking with a registered acupuncturist, treatments include all taxes and do not require gratuity. These policies do not apply when booking with a non-registered professional such as an aesthetician.

Clients are welcome to adjust or change their treatment on the day of their appointment, provided there is sufficient time available in the schedule. We understand that skin needs and preferences can change, and our team will always do our best to accommodate modifications where possible. If a longer or different treatment is desired, availability will depend on practitioner scheduling and appointment length on the day of your visit.

Still not sure? Book in and our practitioners will look at your skin properly and recommend the right treatment for you.
